About us
The bridge between tradition and science
Holistic Technique exists for what busy London life often skips over: chronic stress, postural drift, and the quiet disconnect between how you feel and how your body is actually functioning.
Dr. Samuel built this space so Sunnah-rooted Hijama and honest anatomy education could sit in the same conversation — never rushed, never generic.

Appointment-only
No walk-in traffic — your time in the room is protected, private, and unrushed.
E1 sanctuary
E1, Gun St: a calm base near the river where your nervous system can actually downshift.
Knowledge first
We teach the why behind symptoms so relief lasts beyond the day you walk out.

Our origins
In E1 we kept seeing the same story: capable people running on empty — over-medicated for symptoms, under-equipped with understanding. This clinic began as a counterweight to that pattern.
Modern medicine excels at acute crisis; it is often thinner on the slow grind of desk work, poor sleep, and years of small compensations. We stand where evidence meets reverence — never mocking either side.
Knowledge first, treatment last
A treatment without context is a patch. If we ease your back but you never see how breath, load, and stress wired the pain in, we have only done half the job.
Sessions start with dialogue: what you have tried, what you hope for, and what your tissues are saying today. When you understand the map, healing tends to stick.
The practitioner: Dr. Samuel
Clients describe him as a gold mine of information with a calm presence — the rare mix of charisma and obsessive detail. He reads past the obvious complaint into breath, gut, stress, and the story your fascia carries.
“You should leave clearer, lighter, and more curious about your own body than when you arrived.”
The sanctuary
Environment is part of therapy. On Gun Street, near the river, the room is intentionally quiet: clean lines, natural oils, and sound that lets the nervous system soften instead of scan for threats.
Whether you are returning from injury or simply reclaiming energy, appointment-only care means no crowded waiting rooms — only focused, dignified attention.
Our commitment to the community
From Ramadan-aware scheduling to longevity coaching for neighbours across London, we treat the ripple effect of one healthy person — families, teams, and streets all benefit when someone feels like themselves again.
- Honest timelines — we will not promise overnight miracles.
- Inclusive respect for faith, culture, and clinical boundaries.
- After-care you can actually follow between visits.
FAQ
Questions we hear often
Booking, preparation, and what to expect — if you do not see your question here, message us and we will respond personally.
What should I do to prepare for a Hijama session?
We recommend fasting for at least 2–3 hours before your appointment for optimal results. Hydration is key—ensure you have been drinking plenty of water in the 24 hours leading up to your session.
Does it hurt?
Most clients find the process incredibly relaxing. The clothed massage and percussive therapy prepare the body so that Hijama itself feels like nothing more than a light scratch. Many of our clients actually fall asleep.
How many sessions will I need?
While many feel reborn after just one session, chronic issues often require a series of 3–5 treatments to fully reset the body’s patterns. Dr. Samuel will provide a bespoke roadmap during your first consultation.
Is there after-care?
Absolutely. You will leave with an after-care prescription that may include dietary advice, specific stretches, and herbal recommendations. We do not just treat you; we give you the manual for your body.
